Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 18 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of LimbWise Capability (the "Service"), provided by The Foot in Diabetes Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
LimbWise Capability is a self-assessment and learning platform for healthcare professionals, based on the Capability Framework for Integrated Diabetic Lower Limb Care. It allows you to score your own capability against framework statements, view a personal capability profile, access learning content, complete knowledge-check quizzes, and (on relevant plans) generate certificates of completion.
2. Not clinical or professional advice
The Service is an educational and self-assessment tool. It does not constitute medical advice, and self-assessment scores, certificates, or learning content do not represent a formal qualification, accreditation, or endorsement of your clinical competence by any regulatory body. You remain responsible for your own clinical judgement, scope of practice, and compliance with your professional body's requirements.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
4. Plans, subscriptions and billing
- A Free plan is available with core self-assessment features.
- Paid "Pro" plans unlock additional learning content, quizzes, certificates and reporting features, billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout).
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who act as the merchant of record for all purchases. Your payment information is handled by Paddle, not stored by us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse the Service to harm others; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems; copy, resell, or redistribute framework content, learning materials, or certificates without permission; or use the Service in a way that breaches any applicable law or professional code of conduct.
6. Intellectual property
The Capability Framework for Integrated Diabetic Lower Limb Care, all learning content, software, branding and design within the Service are owned by The Foot in Diabetes Ltd or its licensors. You're granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own professional development. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of our intellectual property to you.
7. Certificates
Certificates of completion confirm that you have completed specific learning content and/or knowledge checks within the Service. They are evidence of self-directed learning, not a professional qualification or external accreditation, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and up to date, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add to, or remove features, content, or pricing from time to time. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Foot in Diabetes Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, or for clinical decisions made on the basis of your own self-assessment. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence, where such liability cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
